Dr. Rachel LoGrasso has joined Dr. Philip Kamins as the newest dentist on the Pacific Palisades Dentistry team.
LoGrasso, who grew up in Castellammare from the age of 2, shared that she is happy to be back in the Palisades, serving a community that she loves.
“The Palisades has always been a wonderful place for families,” LoGrasso told the Palisadian-Post. “I remember it being really fostering and really wonderful—I had a great childhood in the Palisades.”
The dentist is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree at University of California, Berkeley.
LoGrasso spent her early career providing care to underserved communities all over the world, including Belize, Baja California, San Joaquin Valley and South Los Angeles. She worked on the Give Kids a Smile Day event, which focuses on providing oral health education to all children, despite their economic status.
“The most rewarding aspect of that was helping people who didn’t have access to dental care,” LoGrasso shared, “and having them gain that access and have a positive experience.”
She prides herself on being enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated. She is able to work and communicate with patents of all ages.
LoGrasso, who has returned to live in Castellammare, shared that she enjoys working as part of a team and giving back to the community. She is excited to work alongside Dr. Kamins, who she described as a great mentor.
Her background includes experience in pediatric conscious oral sedation, restorations, pulpotomies, crowns and extractions, as well as a background in general dentistry.
