The City Section released its boys volleyball playoff pairings Tuesday and Palisades High has been awarded the No. 1 seed in the 16-team Division I bracket.
The defending champion Dolphins, who are unbeaten against City opponents this season, will host 16th-seeded Monroe in the first round next Tuesday night at 7. Should Palisades prevail it would host either No. 8 Bell or No. 9 Cleveland in the quarterfinals next Thursday.
West Valley League champion El Camino Real is seeded No. 2, Marine League champion Narbonne is No. 3 and East Valley League runner-up Van Nuys is No. 4.
