Pali High Pitcher Augie Sylk Commits to USC

Augie Sylk, a left-handed pitcher on Palisades High’s varsity baseball team, verbally committed to USC last Wednesday. Sylk had 15 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched as a junior last year.

“I’m happy for Augie,” Pali High Coach Mike Voelkel said. “USC has been interested in him since he was a sophomore.”
