Palisades Charter High School has announced a slew of projects to be completed before the next academic school year, including a Quad renovation.
With a contribution from a “generous donor,” the school is looking to renovate its central quad area for the first time since its creation.
The changes include the installment of a backdrop at the base of the stairs, featuring two dolphins—a nod to the school’s mascot. There will also be landscaping adjustments, changing the layout of the grass and the addition of florals, as seen in a video previewing the changes.
“While we have enough to do many of the things you see in this brief video, we are trying to raise $30,000 to ensure that we can complete all these items,” according to a newsletter from the school. “We have funding for charging stations to be installed in the quad for all students, and would like to make a working stage for outdoor productions and other student activities.”
