Led by senior Juno Fullerton, students at PaliHi raised $5,000 over the course of the past year to bring the Children of Uganda’s Tour of Light Dance Troupe to the Mercer Hall stage Wednesday, Feb. 26, with generous help from the Booster Club.
The team of Pali students organized an assembly and outdoor performance during lunch, engaging their fellow students in an eye-opening cultural experience.

Children of Uganda is an organization based in Uganda that provides schooling and arts programs for local children as well as raises awareness of HIV/AIDS, poverty and Uganda’s orphan crisis. The Troupe has traveled to schools all across the country. In doing so, some of the children were given the opportunity to meet the families that have sponsored their education back home.
