Assault and robbery
Sunset/Chautauqua – At 8 p.m. Aug. 16 an assault occurred where one suspect punched a woman at woman at a party and took her money and cell phone. Los Angeles police describe the suspect as a black man, bald, 6’2” and 215 pounds, approximately 35 years old. There were two other men with the first suspect, no further description.
Home/business burglaries
- 16700 block of Charmel Lane – Between 4 p.m. Aug. 12 and 6:15 a.m. Aug. 13, a suspect entered a garage at a construction site and took tools.
- 15900 block of Temecula – Between 1:10 and 3:40 p.m. Aug. 13, a suspect entered a home through an unlocked door and took laptop computers, a printer and a cell phone.
- 1100 block of Fiske – Between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13, a suspect entered a home by prying open a screen door. They took jewelry, a laptop computer and a fur coat.
Vehicle burglaries
- 700 block of Ocampo – At 3:25 a.m. Aug. 16, a suspect entered a vehicle and took a file with paperwork. Police describe the suspect as a black man, black hair, between 5’8” and 170 pounds, and between 20 to 28 years old.
- 300 block of Mesa Road – Between 9 p.m. Aug. 15 and 9 a.m. Aug. 16, a suspect entered a vehicle and took an iPhone.
Stolen bike, flip-flops and a business sign
- 300 block of Sumac Lane – Between 7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8 a.m. Aug. 16, a suspect entered a garage and took a bicycle.
- 900 block of Monument – At 12 p.m. Aug. 8 a suspect took a business sign from the sidewalk. Police describe the suspect as a white woman, 5’4” and 140 pounds, approximately 50 years old.
- 17200 block of Pacific Coast Highway – At 4:50 p.m. Aug. 17, a suspect took flip flops from a business. The suspect is described as a white man, blonde hair, 6’2” and approximately 200 pounds, between 35 and 40 years old.
Vandalism
17500 block of Posetano – At 12: 05 p.m. Aug. 3, a suspect, who has been identified, smashed the front window of a home.
