Stabbing threat
17300 block of Sunset – At 8:10 p.m. July 22, a suspect, possibly named Robert, threatened to cut someone during an argument. Police describe the suspect as a white man, bald, brown eyes, 6’2” and 230 pounds and approximately 45 years old.
Home burglaries
- 1300 block of Allenford – Between 11 and 11:20 a.m. July 23, two suspects entered a home through an unlocked window. The victim returned home and confronted one of the suspects and recovered some of the stolen property. Police describe one suspect as a black woman, black hair, 5’9” and 150 pounds and approximately 30 years old. The second second suspect is described as a woman, no further description.
- 17400 block of Posetano – Between 9:45 a.m. an 1 p.m. July 22, a suspect entered a home through an unlocked door and took money, jewelry and a safe.
DUI
Porto Marina Way/Pacific Coast Highway – An 18-year-old was arrested for DUI following a traffic collision investigation at 4:40 a.m. July 26. A gender was not provided by LAPD.
Swastika/Star of David graffiti
1400 block of Allenford – Between 12 p.m. July 20 and 2 p.m. July 22, a suspect spray-painted a Star of David, a swastika and wrote “Gaza” on the wall of a victim’s home.
Burglary/theft from a vehicle
- 800 block of Iliff – Between 9 p.m. July 22 and 6 a.m. July 23, a suspect entered a victim’s vehicle and took money.
- Temescal Canyon/Sunset – Between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. July 21, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took an iPod and a debit card.
- Temescal Canyon/Sunset – Between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. July 26, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a purse and money.
