Violent threats
- 16800 block of Calle De Sarah – A 43-year-old man was arrested at 4 p.m. Aug. 2 and charged with making criminal threats after allegedly threatening to kill someone’s wife and kids over a barking dog argument, according to police.
- 100 block of Entrada – A suspect, who police have identified, threatened to shoot someone in the head.
Home burglary
900 block of Glenhaven Drive – Between 5:30 p.m. July 29 and 7:30 a.m. July 30, a suspect entered a property being remodeled and took tools.
Motor vehicle burglary
Sunset/Swarthmore – Between 2:30 and 10:50 p.m., Aug. 1, a suspect entered a vehicle and took money, a knife set and the rear vehicle seats.
Theft
- 16800 block of Pacific Coast Highway – Between 2 and 4:30 p.m. July 17, a suspect took a victim’s watch from an unattended beach bag.
- 17200 block of Sunset – Between 3 and 3:30 p.m. July 30, a suspect took money and a phone while the victim was possibly while the victim was walking in a grocery store parking lot.
Rock thrown through car window
13800 block of Sunset – Between 6:46 and 7:45 p.m. July 26, a suspect threw a rock at a car window, smashing it.
