Firefighters from Station 69 responded to a blaze outside of a home in the 330 block of Grenola St. in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday. A wooden fence between two homes caught fire, said Los Angeles Fire Department Engineer Mark Keonig, adding that the incident was reported at about 1 p.m. Koenig said about 10 feet of fence was damaged. “The homeowner managed to put out the flame before firefighters arrived on scene.” The cause could not be determined but seemed accidental, said Koenig, who is a 38-year veteran of the LAFD.
