The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Los Angeles Chapter has elected Palisadian Helen Meisel as president, effective Oct. 1. Meisel is a Certified Interior Designer who has lived in the Palisades since 1996.
Her portfolio includes medical and corporate offices, mountain and desert retreats, luxury condominiums, elegant family residences and architecturally seamless renovations.
In 1999 she formed Helen Meisel Resource Group, a multiple line representative of quality, distinctive furnishings for the hospitality industry. Her lines have been included in many world-class resorts, hotels, casinos and restaurants.
Meisel has served two terms as president of the Los Angeles founding chapter of NEWH, the Hospitality Industry Network, and one term as co-president. She has also been a delegate to the NEWH International Board.
