The 118th Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament is being played this week at sites throughout Ventura County and many local players are entered.
Palisades High senior Jake Sands, USC signee, is seeded fifth in the Men’s Open Singles main draw (beginning today at the Ojai Valley Inn) while 2017 Pali High graduate Lucas Bellamy is trying to qualify in singles and is also entered in doubles with UCLA teammate Connor Rapp. Another Palisadian, Anakin Peace, is also in the qualifying draw.
In the Girls 18 Doubles draw is Pali High junior Caroline Goldberg (playing with Colbey-Shae Emery of Ventura.
Jonah Dickson is seeded ninth in the Boys 16 Singles, which also includes Pali High’s Lincoln Bellamy, Atticus Parker and Palisadian Phillip Otero.
Noah Zaret and Drew Singer are entered in the Boys 14 Singles draw, Pali High freshman Noe Winter is playing the Girls 16 Singles and the Girls 18 Singles draw includes Pali High junior Ireland Amato and Oaks Christian junior Chloe Bendetti.
Representing Pali High in the CIF doubles division are Jack Harrington and Danilo Milic.
