Palisadian Americanism Parade Association (PAPA) is currently in pre-planning stages for the Fourth of July parade and is looking to fill two new positions: the social media coordinator and a float coordinator.
The media coordinator will be responsible for PAPA’s online presence, with a particular focus on expanding PAPA’s social network on Facebook and Twitter. The coordinator would work directly with PAPA’s president Robert Weber to develop original content and campaigns and increase participation in events. The position offers a great resume-building opportunity for someone seeking to break into a social-media career, or a fun way for an established professional to give back to the community.
The float coordinator will interact with local community groups to encourage more local entities and neighborhoods to build and enter floats in the parade, and will help direct these groups to valuable resources for materials and float construction.
