The Pacific Palisades Park Advisory Board met on Wednesday, July 19 for updates on park programming, the board’s fundraising efforts and other park issues.
Donations from the Palisades Optimist Club and Lee Trask made it possible to outfit park staff with hand-held radios and the batteries they require—a much-needed addition for events and monitoring the grounds.
Baseball and basketball registration reported strong numbers again this year, and the board is continuing to prepare for construction on the long-awaited Potrero Canyon Park.
PPAB meets again at the Palisades Recreation Center on Oct. 18 at 7 pm.
