Pacific Palisades Community Council and American Legion Ronald Reagan – Palisades Post 283 have partnered together to present a community safety meeting on Thursday, April 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
“Our aim is to provide a productive conversation that enables the community to determine a plan of action that can help address our public safety concerns and also assist the agencies tasked with public safety to better understand and respond to our concerns,” according to a flyer for the event.
Panelists for the event are slated to include Deputy Chief Richard Fields (LAFD West Bureau Commander), LAPD Senior Lead Officer for Pacific Palisades Brian Espin and for Brentwood Matt Kirk, PPTFH Co-President Sharon Kilbride, and more.
“The recent spate of crime in Pacific Palisades has led to concern across neighborhoods about how to keep safe and prevent crime,” the flyer read. “At the same time, it is critical to address the threat of fire and methods of prevention as well as plans for evacuation. We’ve brought together a panel to discuss community concerns and create a plan of action.”
The meeting will take place at American Legion Ronald Reagan – Palisades Post 283, located at 15247 La Cruz Drive. It will also be streamed via Zoom.
