Babak Rahimzadeh, the man of unknown origins arrested in The Village on Saturday, Aug. 24, after allegedly touching several Palisadian women and teenage girls, is now facing seven charges, including misdemeanor sexual battery, annoying or molesting a minor, resisting arrest, and three charges for failing to register as a sex offender.
The 54-year-old man, described as a “drifter,” had been released from a 90-day stint in jail after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a UCLA student in March 2017. He has a history of similar offenses, dating back to Canada in 2009. He denies the charges but remains in custody.
