Sheila Kay Becker, 71, of Pacific Palisades, died Saturday May 10, 2014. She was born to the late Ralph and Katherine Kling on Jan. 18, 1943, in York, Penn. Sheila graduated from Syracuse University in 1964. She married Robert Becker in 1965, recently celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary. They lived together in the Palisades since 1971.
Sheila spent 14 years teaching before becoming the Director of Admissions for Calvary Christian School where she retired in 2006. After, she started The Perfect Path, consulting on private school placement in Los Angeles.
Sheila was the matriarch of the Becker family. Her greatest passion was simply being with her family and friends. Sheila loved to be with her grandchildren, each of whom cherish her profound role in their lives. Sheila is survived by four children Nicole Ewing of Darien, Connecticut; Kristen Reed of Pacific Palisades; and Ryan Becker and David Becker of Santa Monica. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Church in the Palisades.
