Saint John’s Health Center will present its fourth annual Pink Ribbon lecture on “Vitamins, Minerals & Hormones in Breast Health and Cancer,” 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, and 2 to 4 p.m. on October 16 in the Santa Monica Public Library auditorium. Dr. Maureen Chung, a breast surgical oncologist, will speak on “What’s New and What’s in the Future;” surgeon Maggie DiNome will address “An Integrative Approach to Breast Cancer: Balancing East vs. West;” endocrinologist Frederick Singer will speak on “Vitamin D and Calcium;” and Dr. Ruth Sorotzkin’s topic is “Menopause, Estrogen and Hormone Replacement Therapy.”
