The Palisades High girls water polo squad stayed perfect in Western/Marine League play with Monday’s 16-7 win against Banning in Wilmington.
The Dolphins outscored the Pilots 10-2 in the first half and cruised to their seventh league victory. Palisades hosts LACES in its league finale next Monday at Maggie Gilbert Aquatic Center, where the Dolphins are undefeated this season.
On the road for the final time in league last Wednesday, the Dolphins scored five times in the first quarter and three more times in the second quarter on their way to a 15-10 triumph over San Pedro.
Palisades has outscored league opponents 105-44.
The Dolphins are expected to get a high seed and a first-round home game in the City Section playoffs, which begin next Friday, Feb. 12.
