The vibrant Palisadian arts community gathered together on Wednesday, Nov. 14, to recognize 30 years of service from Theatre Palisades’ Pierson Playhouse.
Among the special attendees were Eva Holberg, Cindie Wright-Banks, Sherry Coon, Diane Grant and Julie Whitcombe, familiar characters who have been there since the beginning and continue to play critical roles in the theatre’s operation.
Guests viewed historical photos and artifacts and enjoyed refreshments in the company of theatrical personalities and theatre lovers alike.
“We laughed and cried and remembered—and were amazed at the efforts of our early members and what they did to make our dreamed of theatre a reality,” said Nona Hale, president of the board, in correspondence with the Palisadian-Post. “It made us appreciate our Pierson Playhouse all the more. A super time had by all!”
