The event is sold out. Palisades High students will display their ceramics, drawings, paintings and photographs during the school’s annual Art Showcase from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Mercer Hall on campus. The choir, marching band, jazz band and dancers will also perform. The public is invited to attend. Theatre Palisades presents ‘The Letter Writer,’ a play by Palisades High School teacher Steve Yusi, at 7:30 p.m. in Pierson Playhouse on Haverford Avenue, as part of the second annual Palisades Playwrights Festival. Christine Schwab reads and signs ‘Take Me Home from the Oscars,’ 7:30 p.m. at Village Books on Swarthmore. Schwab writes about her ordeal with rheumatoid arthritis and her need to hide it from people for years because she was a well-known television personality, deeply embedded in the world of Hollywood, where any disfigurement and disease spells ‘end of career.’ Chamber Music Palisades concludes its season with music by Damian Montano, Beethoven and Johann Hummel, 8 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Church, 1031 Bienveneda.
