Evening campfires are held every Thursday evening, 7 to 8:30 p.m. (through August 23) at the stone amphitheater in Temescal Gateway Park. Participants are asked to bring ‘good cheer’ and the park staff will provide a roaring campfire, the program and marshmallows. Parking is $7.

Temescal Canyon Association’s Tuesday Night Hike will explore the architecture along the now upscale Venice canals. Meet at 6 p.m. in the Temescal Gateway Park entrance parking lot.
