Village Green Lampposts Replaced

The Village Green has a new look thanks to three lampposts that have been replaced following vandalism last December. “I think they’re awesome,” Marge Gold, president of the Village Green Committee told the Post of the new lampposts. Locals stepped up to provide the necessary funds. Coldwell Banker real estate agent Michael Edlen contacted the committee and offered financial help. The Pacific Palisades Optimist Club and the Rotary Club followed suit, and local artist Alden Marin held an art show fundraiser for the replacements. Individuals also reached into their own pockets to donate to the cause.

“We couldn’t have made it happen without them,” Gold said.
