Founder of Vital Proteins Kurt Seidensticker purchased a home in Pacific Palisades for $12.1 million, according to a report by Dirt.
Built just last year, the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom house features 5,760 square feet of living space in the Via Bluffs neighborhood.
“Perched on a lofty ridge … the slickly contemporary structure features unobstructed ocean and mountain views via floor-to-ceiling walls of glass,” according to Dirt.
Custom-designed by husband-and-wife duo David and Eliana Rokach, the home sports a sleek kitchen design, complete with stainless appliances and an eat-in marble island that adjoins a dining area. The living room “spills seamlessly” out to a terrace that overlooks a grassy lawn and infinity pool.
Upstairs, the master suite has a sitting area and a “spa-like” bath with dual vanities, a glass-encased shower and window-topped soaking tub.
Details of the property include a dedicated office space, a full basement complete with a media and game room, and wet bar.
Seidensticker was repped by James Harris and David Parnes of The Agency, while the listing was held by Ryan Jancula and Trevor Montano of Compass.
Seidensticker launched the collagen-infused supplements, Vital Proteins in 2013, which have become “a go-to favorite among A-listers from Kourtney Kardashian to Jennifer Anniston, with the company bringing in over $100 million in annual sales; in 2020,” according to Dirt.
“The road to launching Vital Proteins began a few years ago, around the same time I began experiencing knee discomfort from running. I had always been an avid runner, so the setback was enough to spark my search for a product that would help support my joint health,” Seidensticker shared on the website. “After much research, I found that incorporating ingestible collagen into my diet was the answer since nutrient-rich foods don’t provide enough of the amino acids needed for the body to naturally produce collagen. Things changed for me after that.”
Seidensticker also bought a $3.8 million condo at the Jade Signature skyscraper in Miami recently.
