This weekend, the Palisades High varsity boys water polo team will attempt to defend its title at the fourth annual Westside Classic, which the Dolphins are again co-hosting with Brentwood School. The Dolphins defeated Brentwood 10-7 in the finals last year.
The two-day tournament starts Friday at Maggie Gilbert Aquatic Center and concludes Saturday at Brentwood. The Dolphins are in Group B with Westlake, Santa Monica’s JV and Eagle Rock. Group A has Brentwood, Culver City, Diamond Bar and Venice. Games will consist of six-minute quarters and ties will be decided by sudden death overtime.

6:40 p.m. – Culver City vs. Diamond Bar
7:30 p.m. – Palisades vs. Santa Monica JV

8 a.m. – Brentwood vs. Venice
9 a.m. – Palisades vs. Westlake
10 a.m. – Brentwood vs. Culver City
11 a.m. – Santa Monica JV vs. Eagle Rock
12 p.m. – Diamond Bar vs. Venice
1 p.m. – 4th Group A vs. 4th Group B
