Burglaries continue to be an issue in Pacific Palisades with five break-ins reported in this week’s crime report but they weren’t the only types of crime involving residential homes.

A case of grand theft through trickery involved a Palisades home on Radcliffe Avenue where a home was rented out illegally–read more about this crime by clicking here.
Other crimes included a case of child endangerment where a mother left her child with a stranger and the usual cases of thefts from cars.
CHILD ENDANGERMENT
Temescal Canyon/Pacific Coast Hwy, Nov. 29 at 3:30 p.m. A 27-year-old female was arrested for child endangerment after she gave her child to a stranger for safekeeping.
BURGLARIES
164500 Via Floresta, between Nov. 25 at 4:45 a.m. and Nov. 30 at 4:30 a.m. The suspect pried open a door to enter victim’s home and took money.
700 Wildomar, between Nov. 23 at 5 a.m. and Dec. 1 at 1:30 a.m. The suspect pried open a door on victim’s home and took silverware.
1200 El Hito Cir, Dec. 3 between 10:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. The suspect forced open a screen door to enter victim’s home and took money and jewelry.
900 Fiske St, Dec. 5 between 5:20 a.m. and 7 p.m. The suspect pried open a window to enter victim’s home and took hair accessories.
1000 Vista Grande, Dec. 3 at 2:10 p.m. The suspects (#1 male black, 5’10” 170 lb, 25 years, #2 male black, 5’10” 170, 25 years) smashed a window to enter victim’s home but fled when confronted by victim.
CAR BREAK-INS
15400 Sunset, Nov. 29 between 1 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. The suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a wallet and money. 400 Entrada, Dec. 3 between 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The suspect smashed a window to enter victim’s vehicle and took a purse and wallet.
GRAND THEFT
15500 Sunset, Nov. 30 between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The suspect took victim’s bicycle from a business garage.
600 Radcliffe, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. The suspect (male, gray hair brown eyes, 6’1” 230 lb, 50 years, mole on right cheek) fraudulently rented a home to victim.
PETTY THEFT
14800 Pacific Coast Hwy, Nov. 20 at 7:50 a.m. The suspects (#1 male Hispanic, black hair, 5’6”/5’8” 135/150 lb, 16/18 years, #2 male Hispanic, black hair 5’4”/5’5” 160/170 lb, 20/25 years, #3 male Hispanic, black hair, 5’6”/5’8”, 15/18 years) entered victim’s business, took victim’s property, and fled without paying.
