Los Angeles police, non-profit group Police and Community Together (PACT), and members of the West LA police station are teaming to host a benefit dinner Nov. 1 to raise funds to grant college scholarships to cadets in the station’s youth program.
Actress Sharon Stone will host the evening, and news anchor Chris Schauble will emcee the dinner. Event highlights will include a red carpet, cocktails and silent auction, which will include silent and live action items.
Guests can expect appearances by Jimmy Smit, Wanda De Jesus and Rod Martin. DWO and LA Love Band will be featured as musical guests, said event organizers. Attendees will also be able to enjoy static displays by various Los Angeles Police Department entities, such as SWAT, Bomb Squad, the K-9 Unit, as well as local West LA businesses.
