Former Pacific Palisades resident Willa Harrington died on January 3. She was 89. She and her husband Dr. George Leonard (“G.L.”) Harrington lived with their family in the Palisades from 1955 to 1997. G.L passed away in 1988. Willa was a concert pianist in her younger years. She was also a life member of the L.A. National Charity League and the Westside L.A. Philharmonic Association. She moved to Coronado in 1997 to be near family. She is survived by her two sons, George of San Diego and Carter (wife Susan) of Seattle; daughter Deborah (husband Lee) of Coronado; and eight grandchildren.
