An unidentified woman’s body was discovered in Pacific Palisades near Pacific Coast Highway and Porto Marina Way on Saturday, Jan. 13, shortly after 8:30 a.m., authorities told the Palisadian-Post.
LAPD West Division confirmed that a surfer discovered the body floating in the water approximately 100 yards offshore before pulling it to the beach where he then phoned 911.
The woman, pronounced dead at the scene, was described as a young, Hispanic female wearing black Puma sneakers, dark jeans and a gray T-shirt.
Investigators called to the site determined the death did not appear to be suspicious. However, the LA County Coroner’s office will ultimately determine the cause of death.
This investigation is still ongoing. No further information has been released.
