Elected Officials
You can’t walk around the Palisades without seeing either Mike Bonin or Sheila Kuehl’s name on some municipal or county project. I don’t understand why it’s permissible for incumbents to use taxpayer dollars as free advertising for re-election. It’s not as though the road wouldn’t have been repaired or widened with someone else in office. Although both our incumbents have finally (and thankfully) thrown in the towel, I hope their replacements will forswear this practice, which is more reminiscent of tinpot dictators than democratically elected officials.
Pali High I
Kudos to the Palisadian-Post for doing what a news source is supposed to do and publishing “Pali High Families Opposed to the Vaccine” AND also the response against them and the Post for even printing the article. That’s exactly what has been happening—suppression of freedom of expression (Facebook/Google/CNN). It’s refreshing to see the Post is objective in its reporting. Thank you and shame on the shamers.

Response to the 4 comments regarding the PaliHi [story] last week. Since when is another viewpoint different from the majority of the community automatically “disinformation” or “misstatements.” There is nothing wrong with or shameful about the Post giving a forum to members of a smaller part of the community. Say your piece, but give others the same opportunity.
Caruso
Loved last week’s Caruso rant in the Letters. Hey, Bernie Warren’s in the house!
Caruso II
Regards to the letter to the editor from Gavin Lee Jones. Wondering what Mr. Caruso ever did to him or if it is just character assassination?
