Holiday Stroll
Caruso’s Palisades Village Holiday Stroll last weekend was truly magical. He perfectly captured the holiday cheer of the Palisades with festive (and free!) fare from local eateries, wonderful entertainment and a great Santa. Our family was delighted by what we hope will be an annual tradition.
George Kopek
I was sad to learn that our dear dog walker, George Kopek, had died. I met George and Suzanne in 1984 when I got my first Australian Shepherd, Abbey. Suzanne took care of my first two Aussies, and George took care of my last one, Mandy. Mandy was very shy and she wouldn’t let George walk her, but he would feed her and visit with her when I was out of town. George took care of my neighbors’ dogs too. What a treasure to have known George and Suzanne. Thank you for writing that beautiful article!
Randy Becker
I so enjoyed reading about contractor Randy Becker and his wonderful work ethic, attitude and personal impact on his clients. But I can’t help wonder why wait until an obituary to share our finds of amazing service providers and business owners with the community. I propose a weekly or monthly column or article in the Post to showcase these gems of humanity while they are still around to Feel the Love and maybe reap some benefits in the form of new clients! I’m happy to help in any way to get this idea going! I’m envisioning a We Salute You type column (wonderful column by the way) for our outstanding working folks!
Car
2 young boys in a black early 20’s Range Rover hit the front right of my car in the CVS parking lot on Thursday December 16th between 2:50 and 3:15 pm. If you have any information regarding this accident, please contact me at 310-459-0970. I am also looking in to reviewing the security cameras at CVS. If this was your child, please make them take responsibility.
Rotary
Big congrats to Shirley and Gordon for being named the Rotary’s Business Person of the Year! Knolls Pharmacy is a Palisades treasure. Thank you for all that you do.
