Farmers Market
The Sunday Farmers Market is full of wonderful produce, products and dogs. Perhaps it is time to bring back the Sunday Pet Adoptions?
Response to ‘Shenanigans on Sunset’
The writer of “Shenanigans on Sunset” makes a valid point regarding the traffic signals on Sunset at Amalfi and Will Rogers, the programming of which is quite useless. The waste of time, fuel, and the additional pollution of thousands of vehicle stops every day does not make Sunset safer. It appears that the light at Sunset and Amalfi is usually green on Amalfi, and cycles to red about every six seconds. The light at Sunset and Will Rogers cycles to red about every 11 seconds. Only when these lights cycle red on the cross-streets do the vehicles waiting on Sunset have an opportunity for a green light. Therefore, unless one keeps up with the fastest car ahead, most vehicles encounter a red light on Sunset, regardless of the speed at which they are traveling. In the Highlands at Palisades Drive and Palisades Circle, the traffic light remains red in all directions, and only changes to green on Palisades Drive after a car arrives at the intersection. Again, it’s another full stop and start. Nothing to do with vehicle speed. Even considering the number of entitled drivers (yes, white Range Rover driving at 50 MPH through the Will Rogers intersection on Sunday night, I’m looking at you), it’s no wonder that so many vehicles run the red lights at these intersections. And I can’t really blame them for doing so.
Appreciation
No question just appreciate what you do!

Kudos to Kian Elyashar (11th grade Pali) for volunteering his time and coaching Bball at the rec.
First Baby
Love that a first baby was found and love the Pali-Post’s traditions! Thank you for upholding them all these years!
Winter
This winter seems cold like no other. I can’t wait for summer to return and brighten up the Palisades.
