Parklet
Isn’t it time to admit that the Parklet concept, proposed by Palisades PRIDE for the space in front of Palisades Garden Cafe, was actually a good idea? They were just a few years “ahead of their time.” The community shot down the idea because we couldn’t bear to lose one parking space. Now look at what so many restaurants have done around the world since the Pandemic… basically they have made “Parklets.” If we need a replacement for the removed parking space, just convert the adjacent spot. After all scofflaws already park there all the time anyhow. PRIDE wants to improve our community. I think we should let them.
Bins
If designated bins were posted for “recyclable” plastics, would you find and use them?
Distributing Station
Curious to find out what other areas DWP is going to scope for a distributing station. Will it still be in the Palisades? Does it *have* to be on LADWP owned land?
