‘Mean Girls’

A well-deserved standing ovation for Pali High’s spectacular production of Mean Girls! The talent at Pali High is jaw-droppingly good and rivals that of their Broadway counterparts! The cast is top notch, their acting, singing and ATTITUDE were magnificent, and the choreography and set design (with those detailed projections) were just breathtaking. It’s light years beyond what you’d expect in a high school production. Besides it being a true delight and feast for the senses, it contains a wonderful message delivered with humor, sass and poignancy. Bravo!!!

Mercer Hall needs an upgrade or a new building.

Eclipse

Thank you Pali Library for providing information AND solar eclipse glasses to our community. Viewing the eclipse was awesome.

Speeding

If you drive too fast on San Vicente Blvd, it is highly likely that you will get a speeding ticket. If you drive too fast on PCH, it is highly likely you won’t. San Vicente is regularly monitored for speeding. It seems that PCH is not.

Pet Peeves

I love your dogs but please don’t let them pee on the base of a water fountain or on the legs of an outside dining table or chairs. In markets please keep them close and out of the self service bars or lower shelves. And don’t get me started on shopping indoors when your pup is dangling strings of drool … thank you.

Crypt

I always look forward to seeing the Creep Your Crypt contestants each year. I love to see what our neighbors have come up with. Some of these themed decorations are amazing!
